Karan Khandelwal strikes just a fine work life balance

Most actors in the industry acknowledge the privilege of getting a chance to live their dream lives but they never forget their roots. Karan Khandelwal, who is currently seen in Dangal TV’s Ranju Ki Betiyaan has a garment-based family business in Kerala that is spread across the country. The main business is in Kerala where his family resides but Karan recently confessed that he helps his father with a few deals around Mumbai.

Talking about the same, Karan says, “My family business looks at manufacturing clothes and also deals with purchases. Since I am usually shooting in Mumbai, I handle the business here and look after the dealings. I get to travel to various parts of Mumbai to look at new styles in the market and sometimes take a risk and order new items that I think will work well. There were times when I have picked the clothes using my instinct and it has worked wonderfully in the Kerala market. My father has always supported me with acting and has always encouraged me to focus on acting. But being a workaholic, I do not like sitting ideal. I keep a balance between my shoot and personal work. I have learned everything practically from my dad and want to help flourish his business more.”

He further adds, “Lockdown was very hard for us, we had less labor, and I used to go and pick orders and took care of everything. I used to buy the clothes, pack them and till the end process sell them as well. The last month, when I was shooting in Silvassa, I was constantly on calls and handling the business.”

Karan Khandelwal is indeed a great helping hand for his father.
