A really big issue has been made where; should a 18 year allowed to drink or not. Argument! He/She can surely vote, join army and get married at 21/18 so why drink after 25 years of age. Well if it was for me I would choose a complete ban! And yes I do understand people working for this industry and unemployment with lots of taxes at loss. Same goes for smoking and tobacco products.

And yes the age old philosophy of these things being supplied from black market if made illegal and the following drawbacks. Is that it? thats the reason enough to put so many peoples life at risk. Nope I don't think so.

As far as rights to voting, etc... arguments are there; I have only one thing to say; it is a crime if you kill yourself! so suicide is a crime and when the person has right to do all the above then he has the right to decide on ending his/her own life is also justified. No! that's not done, wrong is wrong by increasing the age, the only thing that happens is less people feel the need to drink after that age and as wiser the individual gets also knows what they are putting themselves into.

Let the government do what they wish too, for the first time they are doing this right. Yes it is not going to stop anything and the example is Delhi they have been following this. Government will go back on its policy anyways after a bureaucratic pressure and swindling of some money here and there. They did for gutka in Mumbai didn't they?
