Learning License Exams To Get Tougher, Waiting Period Reduced

The new system will reduce the waiting time and complete the licensing process within minutes.

The aspirants of a learning license used to get a common set of questions displayed on a common screen. A group of 30 to 40 people answered the question together and the RTO had no control over copying.

Those seeking learning license are drivers of tomorrow and should know safety rules and signs. In the regular RTO process of examination, it is found that aspirants peep into others' answers. RTO has now set up 30 cubicles with 30 computers. Each person will get a different set of questions.

Each candidate will get a cubicle and the question paper will be displayed either in English, Hindi or Marathi, of their choosing.

Each paper will have 15 questions and candidates will get 30 seconds for each question. Now 30 candidates can give the exam at a time and results will be displayed at the same time.

Apart from discouraging the candidates from cheating during the RTO Exam, the new system will also reduce the waiting time. Within minutes, the candidates can give the exams and get the license printed. Earier the process used to take over an hour, which will now be over in a few minutes.
